Software Freedom Day 19th September 2009 DRC Thrissur Software Freedom Day 2009 celebrated with various programmers on 19th September 2009 at ETC, Thrissur District IT@School Project Office. IT@School Project Executive Director Mr. Anvar Sadath Inaugurated this special function and delivered a meaningful short message by On line he interacted the students by one line Video conference. SSA Thrissur District Programme Officer Sri. Sanu sir delivered felicitation speech. Seminar on Free Software conducted by this day and it was done by Mr. Mirash OS, Programmer, Kila The Seminar was so useful and very informative about the topic. Connected with this programme we started Students Empowerment programme for selected students for Digital Painting, Web designing, Hardware Awareness, IT Enabled Education etc.. Rainforest Flow – A House of the Children Project, Executive Director Nancy Santullo traveled to the remote Matsigenka village of Yomybato with her engineering team to supervise a topography study. and check-in with the people.
