What I Do | Who I Help | How I Help

I help entrepreneurs and startup and emerging-company CEOs identify the best path from their current Point A to the Point B they are trying to reach — while helping them identify, avoid or slay the dragons that can block the way.

CEO RESOURCE LLC has worked directly with thousands of startup and emerging companies and their CEOs in 49 states, more than 70 countries and hundreds of industries.

Some of the ways I help include:

Virtual CEO / COO / CXO support
Strategic and tactical planning
Action planning and implementation
Business-model pressure testing
Business plans and realistic financial modeling
Fundraising strategy and investor readiness
Investor and stakeholder relations
Executive mentoring
Crisis management and problem solving
Dragon slaying

What is your company’s biggest constraint to growth — or, if you have not started yet, what is stopping you from starting?

Why My Consulting Availability Is Limited

After more than 4½ decades of building companies, raising capital, mentoring founders and advising startup and emerging-company CEOs, I am now semi-retired.

My primary focus today is Good-Man LLC and the Five Year Life™ publishing program — an effort to preserve and share as much of the Compound Knowledge™ I have accumulated as possible through books and publishing.

I currently have three completed books approaching publication while continuing to make my Chief ImpleMentor™ Virtual Executive Service available on a deliberately limited basis. Former CEO RESOURCE LLC clients receive first consideration, and I selectively accept new startup engagements where I believe my experience can make a meaningful difference.

Would You Like A Complete Manuscript Free?

One reason I am writing these books is to share the Compound Knowledge™ accumulated over more than 4½ decades with far more people than I could ever reach one-on-one.

Each of the three completed books below currently has an Advance Reader Team — ART. ART members receive a complete prepublication manuscript free and give candid reader feedback while there is still time to make the final book stronger.

You do not need to read the entire manuscript. Thoughtful feedback on one chapter, Action Plan, question or idea can still be valuable. If you later choose to leave an honest public review, I appreciate it — but no public review is required.

Beyond The Road Less Traveled: The Road Most Desired™

The strategic-clarity layer of the Five Year Life™ system. Its 108 carefully crafted questions help you honestly identify your Current Point A™, recognize what is no longer aligned and define your own Most Desired Point B™.

It is deliberately non-prescriptive: nobody tells you what your Road Most Desired™ should be. The Question Picker™ lets readers begin with the issue or emotional state that matters most today rather than forcing everyone to start on page one.

The Tactical Implementation Layer Of The Five Year Life™ System

The write-in implementation companion for the same 108 questions. Each question gives readers structured space to think, additional angles to consider and a grounded 24-hour action that turns clarity into forward movement without creating another overwhelming project.

It also stands on its own: open to the question that matters today, write the honest answer, choose one realistic action and begin there.

Compound Knowledge™

For more than three decades, Compound Knowledge™ has been central to my consulting work: accumulated experience becomes dramatically more useful when patterns can be recognized, challenged and reused instead of repeatedly rediscovered from scratch. It has now also become a foundational concept in the Five Year Life™ publishing program.
