W³ = W Cubed™

WHO + WHAT + WHEN

THE COMPLETE STARTUP EXECUTION METHODOLOGY — FREE

W Cubed™ is a complete startup execution methodology designed to take a founder from the company’s real Point A toward Ready for Prime Time™ by showing how the financial, operational, marketing, staffing, product, legal and fundraising pieces fit together.

Instead of handing you another collection of startup advice, W Cubed™ gives you a coordinated execution system showing WHO owns the work, WHAT result must be completed, WHEN it belongs in the sequence, what it depends on, what evidence proves it is done and when the company should stop before spending more.

It also helps expose the problems founders often do not know enough to look for yet: weak driving assumptions, hidden cash requirements, premature hiring, unrealistic schedules, missing dependencies and seemingly small micro-decisions that can create company-wide consequences.

This is not a trial, teaser or stripped-down version.
There is no paid W Cubed™ Pro document waiting behind it. The complete W Cubed™ Founder Launch methodology is free.

What You Actually Get — FREE

The Founder Launch is a substantial working document, not a few pages of theory. It puts the startup roadmap, decision structure and practical implementation tools directly in your hands.

204 Action Items
A company-wide execution sequence identifying the work, accountable WHO, timing, dependencies and expected result.

50 Milestones
Objective Definitions of Done so progress is measured by completed results rather than activity.

9 Action Plans + Gantt Charts
Nine coordinated roadmaps covering founder reality, economics, market evidence, financial modeling, strategy, product, staffing, operations, go-to-market, traction and fundraising.

4 Go/No-Go Gates
Structured points where the founder stops, examines the evidence and deliberately decides whether to proceed, modify, pause or stop.

WHO Chart™ Hiring Methodology
A disciplined way to define the ideal person before hiring employees, contractors, cofounders, consultants or people who influence driving assumptions.

Driving-Assumption Stress Tests
Questions designed to expose who chose a critical assumption, what qualifies them to choose it and what happens throughout the company if it proves wrong.

Costs, Roles, Checks & Founder Tools
Costs founders overlook, role guidance, Before You Move On checks, field notes, decision tools and practical implementation resources.

Compound Knowledge™
More than four decades of recurring startup lessons, patterns, mistakes and second- and third-order consequences captured so you do not have to learn all of them the expensive way.

Pieces of this work historically represented thousands of dollars of consulting value for individual clients. Today I am giving the complete methodology to the startup community.

THE OPTIONAL AI PRODUCTION COMPANION

AI Arsenal™ Lite

W Cubed™ shows you what needs to be done. AI Arsenal™ Lite helps you actually produce the work.

Lite contains 50 guided founder workflows. These are not one-line prompts that simply ask AI to “write a business plan.” Each workflow interviews you, identifies missing facts and UNKNOWN assumptions, challenges the logic, creates a usable work product, red-teams the result and tells you what to carry forward into later workflows.

Most importantly, the workflows are designed to leave you with deliverables in your hands branded for your own company — not merely an interesting AI conversation.

Examples of what Lite can help put in your hands:

First-pass Business Plan
Integrated financial projections
Excel-style financial models and schedules
Startup-cost budget
Cash-burn analysis
Runway schedule
Maximum cash-hole analysis
Base, downside and upside scenarios
Pricing and willingness-to-pay analysis
Revenue staircase and revenue math
Customer and transaction requirements
Lead-funnel and CAC analysis
Gross-margin analysis
Launch-delay stress tests
Growth-capacity stress tests
Go-to-market plan
Sales-process plan
90-day launch plan
WHO Chart™ hiring and contractor tools
Candidate and team scoring tools
Investor Executive Summary
Pitch-deck outline and red-team review
Due-diligence preparation
Weekly KPI/control framework
Full startup red-team memo

The goal is to let AI perform as much of the expensive first-pass production work as possible so you can spend human professional dollars only where judgment, verification or specialized experience truly matters.

MY PRIMARY SEMI-RETIREMENT FOCUS

Five Year Life™ Publishing

After more than 4½ decades of starting companies, raising capital, operating businesses and working with startup CEOs, my primary focus today is no longer building another consulting practice.

My focus is Good-Man LLC and the Five Year Life™ publishing program — preserving as much of the Compound Knowledge™ I have accumulated as possible while I still have the time and energy to do it.

I have already completed three books and have two additional books roughly 80% complete. My hope is to finish those and write several more while I still can.

That shift is also one reason W Cubed™ exists. I cannot personally mentor every founder who may benefit from the lessons I accumulated, but I can capture those lessons in books, methodologies, tools and AI-assisted systems that can continue helping people without requiring my direct involvement.

Five Year Life™ is therefore not a side project attached to my old consulting business. It is a major part of what I have chosen to spend this stage of my life doing.

FEATURED BOOK BY ROBERT LEE GOODMAN

Your Last Paycheck™

Navigating Job Loss and Layoffs in the Age of AI

First, Financial Triage After the Layoff.

Second, Mapping Your New Personalized Career Path in the Age of AI.

Job loss is never just a financial event. It can destabilize your income, savings, family, confidence and sense of professional identity, often at the very moment when you need to make some of the most consequential decisions of your life. Your Last Paycheck™ was written to help readers confront those realities with practical guidance rather than panic, while recognizing that artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the employment opportunities and career paths available to them.

Part One — Financial Triage After Job Loss

The financial-stabilization and career-repositioning layer of the Five Year Life™ system begins with the immediate challenges of losing a paycheck. The first half helps readers stabilize money, benefits, housing, credit and the urgent priorities that cannot wait while the job search unfolds.

Readers are guided through the difficult decisions surrounding financial runway, household spending, unemployment benefits, emergency resources, debt pressures, professional relationships and the practical steps needed to protect what matters most. The objective is to establish a more stable foundation before a temporary income disruption becomes a much larger personal and financial crisis.

Part Two — Your Career Path in the Age of AI

The second half maps a personalized career path for the Age of AI — including 100 emerging AI-related job and career titles spanning immediate-income opportunities through senior executive positions. The focus is not merely on finding another version of the job you just lost, but on understanding how your existing experience can become the foundation for work that may be more resilient and valuable as technology changes the labor market.

Readers explore AI literacy, career repositioning, transferable capabilities, new professional roles, and ways to evaluate training opportunities without wasting scarce time or money. The goal is to help you identify where your existing knowledge and experience intersect with emerging opportunities, then build a realistic path forward.

Who Should Read Your Last Paycheck™?

This book is for people who have recently lost a job, fear that a layoff may be coming, or recognize that their profession is changing beneath their feet. It is also intended for spouses and families affected by employment disruption, career counselors, outplacement professionals and corporate leaders who want to help people make better decisions during difficult transitions.

You are not starting over.
You are leveling up.

Why Am I Giving W Cubed™ Away?

I am Robert Lee Goodman, MBA. Over more than 4½ decades I started 49 companies and limited partnerships, raised outside investor capital 44 times from 1,342 investors and worked with thousands of startup and emerging-company CEOs.

Those experiences accumulated into what I call Compound Knowledge™: pattern recognition created by making decisions, living through their consequences, discovering what was missed and carrying those lessons into the next company.

I do not want those lessons to disappear into old consulting files when I finally stop doing this work.

So instead of trying to monetize every piece of W Cubed™, I am turning as much of that accumulated startup knowledge as possible into a methodology founders can use themselves.

The complete W Cubed™ Founder Launch is my semi-retirement gift to the startup community.

If it helps you avoid one bad hire, one unrealistic assumption, one underestimated cash requirement or one micro-decision that could have grown into a company-threatening problem, giving it away will have been worth it.

A DELIBERATELY LIMITED HUMAN BACKSTOP

At Most 100 Founder Retainer Blocks

Because publishing is now my primary focus, I have agreed to make available no more than 100 blocks of 10 consulting hours for founders and startup-company CEOs.

The purpose is not to have me do work that W Cubed™ or AI can do for you.

The highest-value use of that time is often helping you identify, challenge and pressure-test the driving assumptions you are most worried could jeopardize your company’s future, financing, cash runway or ultimate success.

That might mean examining a launch date, staffing plan, revenue ramp, pricing assumption, CAC expectation, working-capital requirement, capital raise, contractor recommendation or another decision whose downstream consequences could be much larger than the original decision appears.

The objective is to give you access to an experienced second set of eyes when the consequences of being wrong justify it — not to make you dependent on a consultant.

Standard Founder Retainer
