Continued…. You then take $3800 divided by 40 units = $95 dollars per
unit. Now you can see how quickly you must complete each unit in order to
stay profitable. If you have 2 workers being paid $10 bucks an hour…you
have to spend no more than 2.5 hours in each apartment to make $45 bucks
    per unit. (2.5 hours x 2 workers x $10 per hour = 50 per unit paid out)
    ($95 – $50 cost of labor = $45 profit) $45 x 40 units = $1800 profit before
subtracting supplies and equiptment. God Bless!

Enjoyed the phone call today. Sorry it took so long to answer you question
on pricing bids. Here’s an example of how to price the job that you are
bidding on. Lets say that you have a apartment complex containing 40 units.
Each unit is 800 square feet. I would start at about 12 cents per square
foot for the entire job. The formula is 800 units times (x) 40 = 32000
total square feet. Then multiply that figure times .12 (12 cents per square
feet) = $3800 for the total job
