Los Angeles (PRWEB) March 19, 2013

The Great Pyramid of Giza recently rose to #1 on Ranker’s “Best Historical Landmarks to See Before You Die” list, a crowd-sourced list on the consumer opinions website, Ranker.com. More than 500 people have voted on this list as of March, 2013. The Great Sphinx of Giza also appears at number six, making Egypt the most sought after destinations inside the top 10.

The rest of the Top 10 Bucket List Destinations are as follows:

1) Great Pyramid of Giza

2) Great Wall of China

3) Taj Mahal

4) Colosseum

5) Machu Picchu

6) Great Sphinx of Giza

7) Sistine Chapel

8) Stonehenge

9) Acropolis of Athens

10) Eiffel Tower

Travel writer Danielle Dauenhauer, stated: “The Colosseum usually ranks outside the top 10 in must-see attraction lists, even though it’s awesome,” Said Dauenhauer, “but since 2010 visitors have been allowed in the gladiator tunnels which makes the experience pretty epic.”

Tyrion Lanister Tops the List of Best Game of Thrones Characters as Season 3 Nears Its Premiere

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 27, 2013

Tyrion Lanister currently sits atop Ranker’s list of the “Best Game of Thrones Characters” with a narrow lead over Arya Stark. After two seasons, Tyrion (played by Emmy winner Peter Dinklage) is as debauched and oversexed as ever, but has shown unparalleled bravery in the face of his adversaries and is the only member of his family to crack the Top 10, most of whose spots belong to members of the House Stark. As of March 2013, just days before Game of Throne’s season 3 premiere, the crowd-sourced list has been voted on by over 600 people at consumer opinions website Ranker.com, and includes all of the series main characters for fans to vote on.

The rest of the Top 5 characters are as follows:

1) Tyrion Lanister

2) Arya Stark

3) Eddard Stark

4) Daenerys Targaryen

5) Jon Snow

“There’s nothing too surprising about the top 10 here in my opinion. Tyrion is the reigning King of Awesome and Arya should be sitting in chairs backwards, she’s got so much AC Slater cool in her.” said Joe Star, comedian and creator of the comedy show “Pre-Game of Thrones”, “and everyone loves mysterious dudes, so everyone loves Jaqen. Jamie should be ranked over Jorah, but I’m sure time and story will resolve that little error.”

GREEs Knights & Dragons Tops $5 Million in 30-Day Revenue

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) December 17, 2013

GREE today announced that Knights & Dragons, a top-charting game developed by their San Francisco studio in collaboration with Vancouver-based developer IUGO Mobile Entertainment Inc., has recorded more than $ 5 million of revenue in a 30-day period. GREE and IUGO now represent one of the most successful publishing relationships in mobile gaming.

“Hitting the $ 5M in 30 days mark was a goal we set for ourselves back in July and we committed to tremendous growth for Knights & Dragons. Clearly, the teams’ hard work and effort has been successful. Our relationship with IUGO, a leader in building high-quality mobile games, is a great illustration of how publishing can work and is a template for future partnerships,” said Naoki Aoyagi, CEO of GREE International, Inc. “A core part of GREE’s strategy is developing strong publishing partnerships with some of the industry’s top development talent and we aim to keep building more hugely successful relationships like this one.”

“We are very excited to see Knights & Dragons hit this $ 5M milestone. Between that revenue number and the recent Google award, we are confident that we are delivering the game players are looking for. Our goal is to continue to do so both with this game and in the future,” said Hong-Yee Wong, CEO of IUGO Mobile Entertainment. “The success of our partnership with GREE comes from both parties offering close and regular communication and a willingness to learn and share with each other. It is a foundation that that needs to be built to ensure the publishing relationship works. Knights & Dragons is proof of how far the right game can go with the right teams behind it.”

In July 2013, GREE announced that Knights & Dragons, had surpassed $ 1 million in monthly revenue. Since then, GREE has continued to collaborate with IUGO to add new features, content and ongoing in-game events as well as to track key metrics to continually improve game experience, retention and monetization. The refinement of Knights & Dragons as an RPG has won it a loyal following of players, earning positive reviews, high chart rankings and firm growth in month-on-month revenue. As further evidence of the game’s compelling play, Knights & Dragons recently won the “I Can’t Quit You” award in Google’s first ever Players’ Choice poll.

San Francisco Tops Ranker's April Rankings of America's Coolest Cities

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 26, 2013

San Francisco holds a narrow lead over New York City as the #1 coolest city on Ranker’s “America’s Coolest Cities” list, a crowd-sourced list on the consumer opinions website, Ranker.com. More than 1,000 people have voted on the list as of April, 2013 and the gap between the cities competing for “Coolest City in the US” is smaller than Rhode Island. The top 10 has cities representing both coasts, the South, and the Midwest while seemingly thriving cities like Los Angeles and Miami not even making the Top 10.

The rest of the Top 10 Coolest Cities in US are as follows:

1) San Francisco

2) New York City

3) Boston

4) Seattle

5) New Orleans

6) Chicago

7) Austin

8) Portland

9) Honolulu

10) Las Vegas

David Kevoe, who was born on the East Coast but settled in LA, thinks show business’s biggest city ranks lower on the list because “LA is the place I would want to live mainly due to the sun and the weather, but not that much fun to visit compared to these other cities”. Kevoe’s pick for #1 city is Las Vegas due mostly to the entertainment value offered.
